Answer:

The answers are a)The production of the hormones leptin and c)It has no effect on a person´s metabolic rate

Explanation:

a) Leptin is a hormone that is produced in the adipose and plays an important role in energy regulation. Leptin expression is fixed by the amount of fat that is accumulated in the fat tissue cells. The deficiency of the gene that codes for leptin produces a congenital disorder, which leads to obesity.

c) hereditary metabolic diseases are characterized by presenting a failure in the normal activity of metabolism. Its origin is genetic and originate because of a variation of DNA, leading to the transformation of a protein. This irregularity makes it impossible for substances to become others, which produces an accumulation of a substance that is not transformed, resulting in the metabolism not working properly

Are Insurance plans required to cover infertility services? Why or Why not
GaryK [48]
I don't think that infertility services should be required for coverage on insurance plans, but I do think people should have options to provide themselves with that coverage for an extra premium. A woman would have to elect the additional premium by a certain age (determined by the insurance company), and so long as those premiums are up to date then infertility treatment could be covered. It might actually be a moneymaker for the insurance companies, and provide a sense of security to people who know that having a family will be a priority they will fight for financially if they have to.
