Calculating the number of mole of COSO4 reacted
=mass/R.F.M
R.F.M of CUSO4 is 63.54+32+64=159.6
moles is therefore 200g/159.54=1.254moles
since reacting ratio is 1:1 ,moles of Cu is also 1.254moles
mass is therefore moles x R.F.M
1.254x63.54=79.6g(answer C)
Here we have to explain and get the product of the reaction between 3-methyl-1,3-diol and chromium-tri-oxide (CrO₃)
The reaction between 3-methyl-1,3-diol with chromium-tri-oxide (CrO₃) form 3-methyl-3-hydroxybutanal.
The CrO₃ is used as a mild oxidant to the alcohol. It only produces aldehyde or ketone depending upon the position of the -OH group in a secondary or primary alcohol.
Here we can see there are two hydroxy (-OH) group in the reactant. However one of the hydroxy is at terminal carbon atom, thus primary alcohol and other in between as tertiary alcohol.
As the reagent CrO₃ does not reacts on the tertiary -OH group thus the -OH group present at 3 position will not be oxidized. Thus only the terminal hydroxy group will oxidize to form the corresponding aldehyde.
Henceforth the final product of the reaction is 3-methyl-3-hydroxybutanal as shown in the figure.
The stability of atoms depends on whether or not their outer-most shell is filled with electrons. If the outer shell is filled, the atom is stable. ... In ionic bonds, atoms donate or receive electrons to achieve stability. In covalent bonds, atoms share electrons to achieve stability.
Thus, ionic bonds increase the stability of atoms
The name would be aluminum nitrate. and the molar mass would be 213 because aluminum AMU (atomic mass unit) is 27 (26.98) plus NO3's AMU is 62 (62.004) and because there is 3 NO3's that is 186. 186 plus 27 is 213
Hey there!
"Which process responsible for the growth a repair of human tissue?"
Well, it heals itself which is called the mitosis but none of those are your answer choices .. the one that seems to be closer to those two results would be: Option 3.
Therefore, your answer would most likely be:
