❤Bree here! I hope this helps you hun!❤

Graduated cylinder or measuring cylinder, commonly used in the laboratories, is a large cylindrical column used to measure the quantity of a solvent or a liquid. The liquid is poured in the  measuring cylinder to the desired amount. The gradations marked over the measuring cylinder give the exact amount of liquid poured. This gradation or scale is read by recording the line on the scale touched by the bottom of the meniscus of a liquid. Meniscus is the concave shaped surface of the liquid.

Explain how heat as a reactant or product in a chemical reaction makes the change endothermic or exothermic?
gregori [183]

✅Chemical reactions often involve changes in energy due to the breaking and formation of bonds. Reactions in which energy is released are exothermic reactions, while those that take in heat energy are endothermic.

How many moles of SO3 are produced when 1.5 mol of O2 react with SO2?
Law Incorporation [45]

Answer:

3 mole O2

Explanation:

Need balanced equation first:  O2 + 2SO2 --> 2SO3

assuming SO2 is in excess,

1.5 mol O2 (2moles SO3/1mole O2) = 3 mole O2

Which chemical equation represents a redox reaction
Digiron [165]

Answer:

The correct answer is option B, that is, CO + H2O → H2 + CO2

The redox reactions are regarded as the chemical reactions in which one reactant goes through the process of reduction and one reactant goes through the process of oxidation. The reduction reactions are the reactions in which gain of electrons occurs, while oxidation reactions are the reactions in which loss of electrons occurs.

From the mentioned options, only option B, that is, CO + H2O → H2 + CO2 is a kind of redox reaction. In this, the carbon is getting oxidized from +2 to +4 oxidation state, and hydrogen is getting reduced from +1 to 0 oxidation state. Hence, this reaction can be regarded as a redox reaction.
