The charge that alkali metal form when they involve in a chemical reaction with non metals is 1+

Explanation

Metals react by losing electron to form a positively charged ion.

Alkali metal has 1 electron in outermost sub shell which is donated when they react with non metals to form ions with a charge of 1+.

For example sodium (Na) metal with [Ne] 3S¹ electron configuration donate the 1 electron in outermost subshell (3S) to form Na⁺ ion.

What is the hybridization around the O atom?
baherus [9]
Your answer is......... with little bit explains....and read correctly.......The nitrogen is sp3 hybridized which means that it has four sp3 hybrid orbitals. Two of the sp3 hybridized orbitals overlap with s orbitals from hydrogens to form the two N-H sigma bonds. One of the sp3 hybridized orbitals overlap with an sp3 hybridized orbital from carbon to form the C-N sigma bond. The lone pair electrons on the nitrogen are contained in the last sp3 hybridized orbital. Due to the sp3 hybridization the nitrogen has a tetrahedral geometry. However, the H-N-H and H-N-C bonds angles are less than the typical 109.5o due to compression by the lone pair electrons.

An atom has 17 protons and 18 neutrons.
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

Cl

Explanation:

cl has mass number 35 and its atomic number is 17 so number of proton =atomic number 17 and number of neutron is =mass number -number of proton =35-17 =18
