The number post-reproductive age group will decline in number in a population pyramid.

What is a population?

A population is a group of organisms of the same same specie living in a defined area of a given habitat.

A population pyramid shows the number of organisms of age groups in a population.

The post-productive age group is characterized by individuals that are too old to have children.

How is it possible that the F2 generation offspring had some short plants when the F1 generation had no short plants on Mendel's
sattari [20]
The f1 generation may have genes for short plants just that the genes for long plants are dominant over the genes for short plants(recessive) so when cross pollination happen and that two f1 long plants which are homozygous cross pollinate, the recessive genes have a chance of being paired up in new offspring(F2 offspring) thus the possiblity of short plants in f2 generation

Use the information below to answer the following question(s). In a survey, the rate of heavy smokers was reported as 270 per 10
Eddi Din [679]

The probability that neither of them is a heavy smoker is 0.53 or 53%

What is genetic probability?

Probability serves to mathematically estimate the possibility of events that happen by chance, that is, as a matter of luck.

In this case:

Probability that selected one is heavy smoker is:

p=270/1000=0.27

Number of individuals selected is 2 and We know that:

P(X=x)=nc_x(1-p)^{n-x}(p)^x

We need to prove that X=0:

P(X=0)=nc_0(1-0.27)^{2-0}(0.27)^0

P=0.5329
