Answer:

42 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

1) remeber how 1 foot=12 inches

                         we need to find "x" feet for 144 inches

so

\frac{1}{12}=\frac{x}{144}

2) cross multiply

144=12x

divide both sides by 12

12=x

so 144 inches is 12 feet, we need to do the exact same thing for the width

\frac{1}{12} =\frac{x}{108}

108=12x

9=x

the length is 12 feet and width is 9 feet

to find perimeter:

2(l)+2(w)

2*12+2*9

24+18=42

Hope this helps!

Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

  90 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of the inscribed triangle is 1/2 that of the enclosing triangle. So, the total of perimeters is ...

  (3·16 in)(1 +1/2 +1/4 +1/8) = (48 in)(15/8) = 90 inches

Eliana claims she has discovered a method for determining the general form equation of a line
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

The answer is below

Step-by-step explanation:

The general form of a line is given by:

Ax + By + C = 0

The slope intercept form of a line is give by:

y = mx + b;

where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

Given a line with equation Ax + By + C = 0; the slope of the line can be gotten by representing in slope intercept form, hence it becomes:

By = -Ax - C

y = (-A/B)x - C/B

The slope is -A/B

For a line with equation Bx - Ay + C = 0:

Ay = Bx + C

y = (B/A)x + C/A

the slope is B/A

Two lines are said to be perpendicular if the product of the slopes is -1. Hence:

-A/B * B/A = -1; hence the two lines are perpendicular
