Starting from the half circle, the radius is 2, (from the other side of the figure) and using that, 2 x 2 = 4 x 3.14 (or pi) = 12.56. But, it's a half circle. So, 12.56 / 2 = 6.28.
One in the bag!
Going left, we have a rectangle. b x h = a. 6 x 8 = 48.
Done. (by the way, that's the enclosed space)
Finally, the triangle. The triangle's area is found by 1/2 x b x h. 1/2 x 2 x 6 = 6.

The full area of the figure is 60.28.
