After the Dred Scott case, the division between slave and free states was even more clear than it had been in the past. Chief Justice Taney's opinion was met with extreme hate and anger in the North, and even among segments of the South. The public reaction against the case was extremely negative and controversial. The effect of this was that the slavery topic became more dominant in politics and society, and abolitionists gained strength. The efforts of many Americans to end slavery, therefore, became more intense, and the promise of a solution more likely.

kvasek [131]

In the following circumstances, it indicates that she is psychologically dependent on the drug that she has been consumed regularly. Psychological dependence arises in an individual when the person is dependent on a particular thing and it involves an emotional motivation, having to stop with a particular thing that he or she is already dependent on or used to would likely cause a person to feel uneasy or to feel dissatisfied, and because of it, the person would likely go on with the particular thing and continue to engage in such behavior for the person feels that the particular thing is needed and without it, he or she will feel uneasy. It is related in the given scenario above as the person does not seem to stop and takes it regularly the same dosage as she begun because she already exhibits psychological dependence.

C) Signs of high self-esteem -------> 1. Work productively in school

Control means that performance does not deviate from the norm. Management consists of three steps: (1) setting performance baselines, (2) comparing actual performance to baselines, and (3) taking corrective action when necessary.

Control functions are only justified if positive corrective action is taken. It's not enough to point out deviations or shortcomings from the standard. Steps should be taken to correct these deviations from the norm through planning, organization, leadership, staffing and other such management functions.
