OLga [1]4 years ago
6 0

Answer:

16

Explanation:

Gametes are produced by meiosis cell division where it results the meiosis products to have half the number of chromosome as the parent.

So the meiosis products of the above organism will have 4 chromosomes each.

However, due to chromosome paring like male have XY pairing and females XX . So each pair has a combination of 8 chromosomes

The total number of chromosome will be 8 plus 8 and it will be 16

Which protein inhibits interaction between actin and myosin to prevent skeletal muscle contraction; and which ions remove the in
zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

Tropomysin, calcium

Explanation:

Tropomysin is a protein that prevents muscle contraction hence acts as a contraction inhibitor. It wraps around the actin blocking the binding sites for myosin on the actin.

Muscle will only contract when they get a rush of calcium ions.

The calcium ions binds to troponin, the troponin changes its shape. The change in shape will remove tropomyosin from the binding sites allowing myosin to bind on the actin leading to muscle contraction.

What is the most accurate classification of the common forms of coronary artery disease and hypertension?
Genrish500 [490]
The most accurate classification of the common forms of coronary artery disease and hypertension is that they are complex disorders which result from gene-environment interactions. For example, almost 60% of CAD cases are found in South East Asia, that too when their population if just 20% of the total world's population. This is due to the environmental interactions with the genetic disposition of the people of this region.
