First of you need to find the formula for them and them equal it to eachother. Then solve for k. So try and find the slope and then the y int for g(x) is 20 and the y int for f(x) is 4 just find the slope and you should be fine

On a scale drawing,1 in represents 8 feet. What is the actual length of a room that measures 3.4 inches
Xelga [282]

Answer:

27.2 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Since 1 in on the drawing = 8 ft, we should find out how much ft is 3.4 in.

So, to get from 1 to 8, we multiply by 8.

And since we multiply by 8, we also have to do it to the other part as well.

So we would do:

8 x 3.4 = 27.2

Hope this helps! :)

Divide. (3 3/4)÷(−2 1/2) Enter your answer as a mixed number, in simplified form, in the box.
neonofarm [45]
3 \frac{3}{4} = \frac{15}{4}

Because (4*3) + 3 = 15. Similary find the improper fraction for -2 1/2.

(15/4) / (-5/2) = -3/2

Convert -3/2 into a mixed fraction.

Therefore, -3/2 = -1 1/2.

If you can explain your answer that’d be great!! Thank you!
Rasek [7]

Answer:

A(t)=A_{0}e^{\frac{ln(\frac{1}{2})}{22}t}

Step-by-step explanation:

This half life exponential decay equation goes by the formula:

A(t)=A_{0}e^{kt}

Where

k=\frac{ln(\frac{1}{2})}{Half-Life}

Since half life is given as 22, we plug that into "Half-Life" in the formula for k and then plug in the formula for k into the exponential decay formula:

So,

k=\frac{ln(\frac{1}{2})}{Half-Life}\\k=\frac{ln(\frac{1}{2})}{22}

Now

A(t)=A_{0}e^{\frac{ln(\frac{1}{2})}{22}t}

third choice is correct.

The graph shows a system consisting of a linear equation and a quadratic equation. What is the solution(s) to the system?
seraphim [82]
C (1,8) and (4,5).  To interpret a system of equations when shown a graph, look for the points at which the two function intersect or meet. in this case they meet at both points (1,8) and (4,5)
