These extra calories are needed by people with HIV because their immune system is constantly fighting off the HIV virus. This is because HIV attempts to evade the infection even as the immune system attempts to eradicate it. The extra calories give the immune cells, which are extra strained, the energy to perform their functions.

Alik [6]

Answer:

10

Explanation:

The magnification of the drawing made was 10 because it had a length of 100mm and originally had a length of 30mm. It can also be said that the magnification is 3 since dividing by the original length (30) we get: 100/30 = 3.

In the atmosphere as your altitude (height) _____________, the air pressure___________
NARA [144]

Answer:

Altitude increases, air pressure decreases

Altitude decrease, air pressure increases

Explanation:

Altitude and air pressure have an inverse relationship. This means that when one variable increases, the other variable decreases.

For example, as altitude or height increases, air pressure decreases. Also, when altitude or height decrease, the air pressure increases.

This is because, when you are at a lower altitude, there is more air above you, which creates more air pressure.
