By using pythagoras theorem where
(Base)^2 +(perpedicular)^2 = (hypotenuse)^2
So,
(5)^2 +(12)^2 = (hypotenuse)^2
25 + 144 = (hypotenuse)^2
169 = (hypotenuse)^2
13 = hypotenuse

So, hypotenuse = 13

Neko [114]

Answer:

angle t is 55 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Here's my work:

Isoscelese means two of the same length sides. A triangle is 180 degrees. 180-70=110

110/2=55 (two because those are the two angles associated with the equal sides)

Which of the following is the equation of a line perpendicular to the line 7= –3/2 x + 4
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

Option c is correct !!

Step-by-step explanation:

[ Refer to the attachment ]

As y = mx + c is an equation to represent the straight line ; we equate the given line with this equation !!

Where m is slope of the line

and c is y intercept !!

We get , m = -3/2 and c = 4

Also, two perpendicular lines follows the equation :-

(m1)(m2) =  - 1

Where m nth is slope of nth line !!

A kite string is 35m long. The angle the string makes with the ground is 50o
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

22.50m

Step-by-step explanation:

With the ground, the horizontal ground distance is the adjacent side, so by SOHCAHTOA, the ratio used is cosine, i.e.

Ground distance

= hypotenuse * cos(50°)

= 35 cos(50°)

= 35*0.64279

= 22.50m

monarch butterflies migrates when they sense daylight hours are shorter and temperature get colder.write two equivalent fraction
Tpy6a [65]

Two equivalent fractions to represent the part of the migration a monarch butterfly can complete in 1 week is \frac{5}{25} or \frac{1}{5}.

<h3>What is a fraction?</h3>

A fraction is a mathematical expression that shows the relationship between parts vs total. In a fraction, the part is written first and it is known as the numerator. On the other hand, the total is written below and it is known as the denominator.

<h3>How to write a fraction?</h3>

Here are the steps to write a fraction:

  • Find the total.
  • Find the part.
  • Write the fraction.

Based on this, in the chart, the part of the migration these butterflies can complete in a week are the squares in green, while the total is the total squares. This means the fraction for this situation is:

  • \frac{5}{25}

Moreover, you can simplify this fraction and find an equivalent one by dividing the denominator by the numerator as:

  • \frac{1}{5}

Note: This question is incomplete because there is a missing image; below I attach the missing section.
