Answer:

An earthquake can be defined as two blocks of earth suddenly slip on one another. The surface where they slip is known as the fault.

The center is technically non as hypocenter and location above it is kn own as epicenter. There is an instrument known as seismometer which measures the intensity of the earthquake.

The earthquake can be mild as well as strong. The mild earthquake cannot be that dangerous but if the intensity of the earthquake is more then it can really deadly as the buildings can collapse and people can die inside it.

The science behind the earthquake is the movement of tectonic plates which results in earthquake.

This confused me.
KonstantinChe [14]
The answer is A, denature.

As each type of enzymes has its own optimum temperature, like the temperature that they work fastest at, so if the temperature goes too high above the optimum, the 3D structure of the enzyme breaks apart and deforms and they can no longer bind with substrates thus no longer works. In this scenario, we say the enzyme is denatured.

Note that only if the temperature is too high can make the enzyme denature, if the temperature is too low, instead, the enzyme would be inactive, but once the temperature goes back to normal, they work again. Unlike denatured enzymes, which does not work even if the temperature goes back to normal.

In camellia plants, flower color is controlled by a single gene with codominant alleles. A camellia plants with red flowers (RR)
oee [108]
Correct answer is - C All will have pink flowers.
Why? - Codominance is a relationship between two versions of a gene. Individuals receive one version of a gene, called an allele, from each parent. In codominance, however, neither allele is recessive and the phenotypes of both alleles are expressed. Each parent = Red + White = Pink.

Describe the events of each stage of mitosis
seraphim [82]
Mitosis consists of four basic phases: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. ... These phases occur in strict sequential order, and cytokinesis - the process of dividing the cell contents to make two new cells - starts in anaphase or telophase. Stages of mitosis: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase.
