The sediments are present at the bottom of the ocean. They break due to erosion and weathering. These are transported to the beach part by the action of water, wind and gravity. The sea water level rises that inundates the beach covering it with the new clay over the old beach material. This sea rise could be due to multiple reasons ,such as tectonic movements. This process of deposition of the clay on the beach is known as transgression.

Hence, the answer is 'transgression'.

You are conducting a photosynthesis experiment to determine how much oxygen is produced over a 24-hour period of time. You are m
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

Measure only daytime.

Explanation:

It is useless to measure the oxygen production every hour for 24 hours because oxygen is produced during day time due to the presence of photosynthesis process. Oxygen is produced in large amount during photosynthesis, some oxygen is used in respiration while the remaining diffuse out from plant body through stomata. After vanishing sunlight, the photosynthesis process stop and no production of oxygen occur. So only measure oxygen production at daytime as compared to every hour for 24 hours.
