Ways on how Power and Psychological size can be abused are the following:

1.       When in the workplace, there is an abuse on the seniority and power dynamics. In a way, power can be abused when someone is asking for favors in the workplace or making their subordinates do the work for you under threat of loss of job and etc.

2.       When in the intimate relationships there are emotional abuse and manipulation. There is also a financial abuse can happen if a partner restricts the other partner from working and then also does not pay them or share money in order to keep financial power and control.

3.       Abuse of power around children relatives or older siblings and cousins. When you scare children, threatening them of dire consequences or isolating them and using them for your own benefit are ways that they are controlled and abused.

4.       Lastly, School bullying because bullies perceive themselves to be better than or more deserving than those they are bullying. They consider the one that they bullied who’s weak or inferior and somehow deserve of the bullying behavior and abuse of physical strength and power as well as psychological size happens.
