Answer:

1. $5.3

2. 17.95

Explanation:

1. Earning per share today = $5.1

Earning growth in one year = 4%

So, the EPS one-year ahead:

= Earning per share today × (1 + Earning growth in one year)

= 5.1 × 1.04

= $5.3

2 . Market price one-year ahead:

= Current price × (1 + expected return on Parador stock)

= 78 × 1.22

= $95.16.

P/E Ratio = Market price per share ÷ Earning per share

P/E Ratio = 95.16 ÷ 5.3

                = 17.95

Clear Colors Corporation uses a predetermined overhead rate based on direct labor costs to apply manufacturing overhead to jobs.
belka [17]

Answer:

b. $ 2,000 overapplied

Explanation:

Firstly, we need to determine the predetermined overhead rate based on direct labor costs.

Estimated total manufacturing Overhead $ 350,000

Estimated direct labour costs $ 200,000

Predetermined overhead rate $ 350,000 / $ 200,000   $ 1.75 per $ of direct labour costs.

The total manufacturing overhead applied on direct labor costs of $ 208,000, is:

$ 208,000 * $ 1.75                                                               $ 364,000

Actual overhead costs incurred $ 362,000

Manufacturing overhead over applied $ 2,000

For example, if the total cost of producing three units of output is $2,498 and the total cost of producing four units of outp
topjm [15]

Answer:The marginal cost of fourth unit is $589

Explanation:The marginal cost of a good is defined as the cost of producing an additional one unit which increases the total cost of such good. Therefore we can say that;

Marginal cost=Total cost at 4 units - total cost at (4-1) units

=total cost of the 4 units - total cost of the three units

              =3,087 -2,498

             =$589

Also using the formulae;

Marginal cost = Change in cost / change in quantity

= 3,087 -2,498/4-3 =589/1= $589

The marginal cost of fourth unit is $589

Under each scenario given below, explain whether acl or capabilities would be a good choice for revocation. justify your answer.
umka21 [38]

The scenario presented for the question:

(i). Revoking an individual's access rights to a particular set of files, but not all files

(ii). Revoking access to a particular file from a group of users, but not all users.

Answer:

(i). Capability List would be a better choice

(ii). Access Control List (acl) would be a better choice.

Explanation:

(i). Revoking an individual's access rights to a particular set of files, but not all files

A capability list is a better choice here. All one needs to do is go to the individual's capability and remove the capability that gives the individual rights over those particular set of files one wants to revoke. This would not be possible for acl, as one would need to go to each file in the particular set of file to be revoked, confirm if the individual has a right for each file and then revoke. This process will take more time.

(ii). Revoking access to a particular file from a group of users, but not all users.

Access Control List (acl) would be a better choice because one can simply access the particular file acl and revoke the rights of the group of users they intend to.This is not the case for capability list, as one would need to confirm from the capability list of each user to know if they have access to the particular file and revoke their access. This will take more time.
