You said 0.5 · m · v² = m · g · h

Divide each side by 'm' :  0.5 · v² = g · h

Multiply each side by 2 :  v² = 2 · g · h

Square root each side :   v = √(2 · g · h)

You said that  g = 9.8 m/s²  and  h = 875 units

So  v = √(9.8 m/s² · 875 units)

v = √(8,575 m·unit/s²)

v = 92.6 / s² · √(m · unit)

Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

The new value of g = 1.19 m/s^2

Explanation:

Mass  =290 g

Spring size  = 40 cm

The size of spring after streches = 23 cm

Pulling the mass down at  = 11.7 cm

The stopwatch shows the number of oscillations in 17.7 s = 9 osscillations.

The oscillation frequency is independent to g.

So, w = \sqrt{\frac{k}{m}} \\T = \frac{17.7}{9} = 1.966 \\W = \frac{2\pi}{T} = 3.197 \\w = \sqrt{\frac{k}{m}} \\k = w^{2}m \\k = (3.197)^{2} \times 0.29 = 2.96 N/M \\

The amount of spring stretch due to the hanging mass, x, is dependent on g.

Now, \ mg = kx \\g = \frac{kx}{m} \\g = \frac{2.96 \times 0.117}{0.29} = 1.19 m/s^{2}

Therefore, the new value of g = 1.19 m/s^2

A defibrillator containing a 18.4 μF capacitor is used to shock the heart of a patient by holding it to the patient's chest. Jus
gregori [183]

Answer:

The energy E is 1603.008 J.

Explanation:

Given that,

Capacitor = 18.4 μF

Voltage = 13.2 kV

We need to calculate the energy

Using formula of energy

E=W=\int{Q}\ dV.....(I)

We know that,

Q=CV

Put the value of Q in equation (I)

E=\int{CV}dV

On integration

E=\dfrac{CV^2}{2}

Put the value into the formula

E=\dfrac{18.4\times10^{-6}\times(13.2\times10^{3})^2}{2}

E=1603.008\ J

Hence, The energy E is 1603.008 J.

We are given the description of an enclosure that has fencing on 3 sides and can use 3,056 yards of fencing. We are to find the
shusha [124]

Answer:

The sum of the lengths of the sides is 2292 yards and the sum of the lengths of the triangle is 3056 yards

Explanation:

Since y represents the length of fence that is opposite (parallel) to the river and x represent the length of fence perpendicular to the river.

Therefore since we can use 3,056 yards of fencing

Side perpendicular to the river = x and,

Side opposite to the river = y = 3056 - 2x

The area of the rectangle formed (A) = Perpendicular side × Parallel side

∴ A = x(3056 - 2x) = 3056x - 2x²

A = 3056x - 2x²

To maximize the area, A' (dA/dx) = 0

∴ A' = 3056 - 4x = 0

3056 - 4x = 0

4x = 3056

x = 764 yards

y =  3056 - 2x = 3056 - 2(764) = 1528 yards.

Side perpendicular to the river = 764 yards and,

Side opposite to the river = 1528 yards

The sum of the lengths of the sides = 764 + 1528 = 2292 yard and the sum of the lengths of the triangle = 764 + 764 + 1528 = 3056 yards
