Answer: Yes

Explanation: I don't know exactly but I remember my 8th garde teacher saying that they did because one end is positive and one is negative. A dipole is consists of two adjacent opposite charges. Also a covalent bond is made up of two H atoms and the bonds are attracted to the nuclei because opposite charges attract.

I'm not entirely sure that I am correct but hopefully it is and I hope it helps.

There are different types of bonds based on electronegativity. One bond type is known as non-polar covalent. Which choice below
KatRina [158]

Answer:D

Explanation: NaCl is an ionic bond which makes it polar. A polar molecule consists of atoms having either a positive or negative bond. Polar molecular bonds consist of atoms having a partial positive or partial negative charge, as molecular bonds usually only consist of nonmetals. However, ionic bonds are always polar.

Considering the law of conservation of mass, if 56 g samples of solid iron (Fe) reacts with 24 g of oxygen (O2), how many grams
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

62_grams of FeO

Explanation:

Molar mass of Fe = 55.845_g/mol

Molar mass of O2 = 15.999_g/mol

From law of conservation of mass

2 moles of Fe combines with one mole of O2 to form 2 moles of FeO

Number of moles of Fe and O2 present = mass/(molar mass) = 56/55.845~1

and 24/16 = 1.1.5

Therefore

1 part of Fe will react with 0.5 part of one mole of O2

which is 54_g of Fe reacts with 8_g to form 54+8 = 62_grams of FeO
