The mass of an object won't actually be the reason whether something will sink or float, because 2 tonne boats can float.

Many factors like density, Archimedes' principle, go in to determining whether something will sink or float

Are there any similarities between this Galapagos research and Darwin’s research? Explain your answer.
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer: This modern-day researcher used some of the same theories that Darwin proposed. Like Darwin and his finches and tortoises, this scientist understood that the Galapagos cormorants inherited flightless wings. Darwin eventually discovered that his Galapagos finches likely evolved from other species of finches on the mainland. This evolution was similar to how the flightless Galapagos cormorants evolved from other species of cormorants.

matrenka [14]

Answer:

A) vesicle

Explanation:

As described in this question, the endomembrane system is a system of membrane-bound organelles in eukaryotic cells that functions in the synthesis, packaging, modification, and transportation of lipids and proteins in the cell. The organelles that make up the endomembrane system includes: Secetory Veside, Lysosome, Golgi apparatus, Plasna membrane, endoplasmic reticulum etc.

According to this question, the part of the endornembrane system that provides a mechanism for transporting proteins from the rough ER, which synthesizes it to the golgi apparatus, where it is modified and packaged is VESICLES. Vesicles are membranous cellular organelles that function mainly in the transport of materials e.g proteins

Describe the Plum Pudding Model of the atom
Goryan [66]

Answer:Thomson's model showed an atom that had a positively charged medium, or space, with negatively charged electrons inside the medium. Soon after its proposal, the model was called a "plum pudding" model because the positive medium was like a pudding, with electrons, or plums, inside. Thomson developed what became known as the "plum pudding" model in 1904. Plum pudding is an English dessert similar to a blueberry muffin. In Thomson's plum pudding model of the atom, the electrons were embedded in a uniform sphere of positive charge like blueberries stuck into a muffin.

Hope this helps... Stay safe and have a great day!!! :D

What kind of metamorphism will occur if the environmental conditions are 400°c and 5 kilobars?
Akimi4 [234]

Answer;

Regional metamorphism

Explanation;

 • Regional metamorphism takes place when rocks are buried deep in the crust. It is commonly associated with convergent plate boundaries and mountain range formation.
 • In other words regional metamorphism takes place over wide areas and results from both pressure and temperature generated at convergent plate margins during subduction and continental collision.
 • It results in deformation in non-hydrostatic and differential stress conditions and creates strongly foliated metamorphic rock (slates, schists, gneiss)
