There is a formula u can use to solve all of these problems.
percent formula : is/of = %/100

50 is x% of 300
is = 50
of = 300
% = x
now sub

50/300 = x/100
cross multiply
(300)(x) = (50)(100)
300x = 5000
x = 5000/300
x = 16.67%

use the same formula for the other questions.
35% of 150 is x

is = x
of = 150
% = 35

x/150 = 35/100
cross multiply
(100)(x) = (35)(150)
100x = 5250
x = 5250/100
x = 52.5 <==

x is 200% of 40
is = x
of = 40
% = 200

x/40 = 200/100
cross multiply
(100)(x) = (40)(200)
100x = 8000
x = 8000/100
x = 80

10. 50 is roughly around ~16% of 300. (16% is 50.1)

11. 35% of 150 would be 52.5

12. 80 is 200% of 40

Abdull sells computers for a local computer outlet. He gets paid $400 per month plus a commission of 4.2% on all the computer ha
Fed [463]

Ok. So… Let's see if I can solve this one.

So since they wanted 4.2% out of the 640,000 Abdull makes, we can move the decimal(4.2%) to the left twice. Which will get .042 . The afterword-that will allow us to multiply 640,000 dollar with .042 . Which mean Adbull has receive 26,880 cash that year.

Answer for “A” = 26,880

Ok so his annual salary plus his commission. That means his 400 dollar (per month) plus the amount on the sales commission. Which mean… 400 dollar(Monthly) plus 26,880 dollars. Which will get us 27,280

A = 26,880

B = 27,280

(Im not sure about answer B because Im not sure if they are talking about yearly price for both or monthly payment for 400 dollar plus the monthly commission.) But overall, their,you have your answer.

Find the equation of the line.
Use exact numbers.
y =
x+
Alexxandr [17]

This is poorly written, but as i understand:

We have the general equation:

y = x + i

where i is a constant, and we want this function to pass through the point x = 2 and y = 3.

Then we must find the value of y, we know that when x= 2 we also must have y = 3, so we can replace those two values in the equation above and get

y = 3 = x + i = 2 + i

3 = 2 + i

3 - 2 = i

1 = i

So our equation is y = x + 1
