Answer:

Being in quarentine has brought my family closer together. We have now started going on Zoom to talk to each other in these frightening times. I never had many friends to begin with and those I do consider amiable have either destroyed our friendship by losing my trust or ignore me. I would consider myself an ambiovert, or in simpler terms both introverted and extroverted. It is similar to a light switch, in the sense that I can turn it on or off. Now that I am stuck in my room, I have been able to connect more with my introverted self. I have finally had a chance to disconnect myself from society as I always wanted. I don't speak to any of my classmates with the exception of one person and a friend that doesn't attend our school. This has been pure bliss for me.

Answer:

Hate crimes

Explanation:

A hate crime is a traditional offense like murder, arson, or vandalism with an added element of bias. To collect statistics, the FBI has defined a hate crime as a “criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity.” Hate itself is not a crime—and the FBI is mindful of protecting freedom of speech and other civil liberties. Hate crimes are the highest priority of the FBI’s civil rights program because of the devastating impact they have on families and communities. The Bureau investigates hundreds of these cases every year, and we work to detect and prevent incidents through law enforcement training, public outreach, and partnerships with community groups.

Traditionally, FBI investigations of hate crimes were limited to crimes in which the perpetrators acted based on a bias against the victim’s race, color, religion, or national origin. Also, investigations were restricted to those wherein the victim was engaged in a federally protected activity. With the passage of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr., Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, the Bureau became authorized to also investigate crimes committed against those based on biases of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or gender.

Essay on unity in life
VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

Unity is Strength” is a common phrase and it is true to its every word. Unity means being together. It means standing together in thick and thin. Man is a social animal and it is important for him to stay united with his fellow beings in order to lead a peaceful and fulfilling life. This is a very important message that people should pass on to their children. They should set an example by creating a healthy environment at home where everyone lives in coordination with each other. However, families are drifting apart these days and people are forgetting the value of staying united.

Today, we see countries fighting with one another over petty issues. People are killing each other because of minor reasons. There is hatred all around. Everyone is busy in his own world and thinks only about himself. In earlier times people lived in joint families and were well connected with their relatives and everyone else in their neighbourhood. They were there for them whenever needed. In today’s time people are seldom aware as to who their next door neighbour is. It is sad that even though we have numerous means to connect with people, we do not bother to contact our loved ones.

It is time people must truly understand the importance of staying united and live cordially with others.
