Slope formula: (y² - y¹) / (x² - x¹)

(2, 5) and (8, -4)

x¹ = 2

x² = 8

y¹ = 5

y² = -4

-4 - 5 = -9

8 - 2 = 6

Answer: -9/6

So
= - 4 - 5/ 8-2
= - 9/6
