2)<u> Divergent plate motion-</u><u> </u>Here the plates move in the opposite direction.

3)<u> Transform plate motion-</u> here the two plates slide past each other. Due to this type of motion of plates, shallow-focus earthquakes are usually generated and they are very destructive. Here neither the plates remain conserved.

Some of the geological features that are produced due to this type of plate motion are volcanoes and fault lines.
