I Think you just divide 32/8=4. that's how many times 8 goes into 32. and for every eight in 32 we only have five. so just multiply the number of times eight goes into 32 (4) and multiply it by 5. 4*5=20 so the answer is B.

The mass of a ball is 128 g. It has a density of 0.5 g/cm³.
liraira [26]

Answer:

The volume of the ball is 256 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The density is equal to the ratio of the mass by the volume

D=m/V

Solve for V

The volume is equal to the ratio of the mass by the density

V=m/D

In this problem we have

m=128 g

D=0.5 g/cm³

substitute

V=128/0.5=256 cm³

A metronome uses an inverted pendulum rod to control tempo. A weight can be slid up the pendulum rod to decrease tempo, or down
Dominik [7]

Answer:

Part 1

Multiply both sides by 2π

2πf = √(g/L)

Square both sides

4π²f²= g/L

Invert both sides

1/(4π²f²) = L/g

Multiply both side by g

g/(4π²f²) = L

We usually write an equation with the subject (L) n the left

L = g/(4π²f²)

________________________

Part 2

Using the above equation with the given values:

L = g/(4π²f²)

. .= 9.8 / (4π² x 1.6²)

. .= 0.097m (= 9.7cm)

By the way, where it says

“f=1.6 then there are 2 beats a second, or 192 beats per minute (bpm).”

this should say

“f=1.6 then there are 3.2 beats a second, or 192 beats per minute (bpm)”
