There are 1000 mL in a Liter.

0.298 mL * 1 L/1000 mL = 0.000298 L

That makes the answer D

You could put in your calculator like this (if that is the problem)

0.298

÷

1000

=

0.000298

I have two calculators. One registers that as the answer and the other one changes into scientific notation

2.98 * 10^-4.

10^-4 requires 3 zeros after the decimal to get rid of 10^-4

0.000298 get's rid of the 10^-4 if that is what your calculator gives you.

Note that 1000 ml = 1 liter.

Thus,

0.298 ml             1 liter

--------------- * ------------------ = 0.000298 liter

      1                1000 ml

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1) ABCD is a trapezium. AB ║ CD

∠ADC + ∠DAB  = 180°  { Co interior angles}

110° + ∠DAB = 180

         ∠DAB = 180 -110

∠DAB = 70°

2) Sum of all angles of trapezium = 360°

∠A + ∠B + ∠DCB + ∠D = 360

70° + 50° + ∠DCB + 110° = 360

                 230 + ∠DCB = 360

                            ∠DCB = 360 - 230

∠DCB = 130°

3) For finding the height, use Pythagorean theorem

height² + base² = hypotenuse²

      height² + 6² = 10²

      height² + 36 =100

               height² = 100 - 36

              height² = 64

               height = √64

height = 8 m

4) a = AB = x m

  b = 9 m

h = height = 8 m

Area of trapezium = 120 m²

\frac{(a+b)*h}{2}\\\\  = 120

\frac{(x+9)*8}{2} =120\\\\\\(x +9)*4 = 120

x + 9 = 120/4

x + 9 = 30

    x = 30 - 9

x = 21 m

AB = 21m

What is a cube in math
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

In arithmetic and algebra, the cube of a number n is its third power, that is, the result of multiplying three instances of n together. The cube is also the number multiplied by its square: n3 = n × n2 = n × n × n.

If a car has traveled 171 miles in 3 hours at a steady pace, how far has it traveled each hour?
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

B: 57 mph=57 mph

Step-by-step explanation:

A steady pace means constant speed  that it does not change over a period of time and direction of motion. A simple formula, for this case (constant speed)

v= \frac{x - xo}{t -to}

where x is distance and t time. The subtract is final value minus initial value

We have the distance and time, then

v= \frac{171 miles}{3 hours}  = 57 mph
