Well I do not know what activity you chose but warming up your muscles before and workout helps loosen them up and help reduce straining and tight muscles during physical activity. Doing a cool down is the same as warming up. Cool down loosens up the muscles since they have been worked and stressed during an exercise.

It depends on what the exercises you did in the warm-up and cool down were and what activity you did whether it was ride a bike, jog or swim. Depending on what the activity was think about some benefits that you felt afterwards. Did you feel happy after exercising? Did you feel less tired? Include whatever benefits you felt from whatever you did.
