When altitude increases, air temperature decreases because when there is an increase in altitude, there is a decrease in air pressure. When air pressure decreases, air cools down. Latitude affects temperature because the closer you are to the equator, the more intense the sun will be.

How is HIV is a modern-day driving force for human evolution?
juin [17]

Answer:

Testing positive for HIV means a high chance of death and a good chance of lower reproduction rates. But some people are immune to HIV, which makes them more evolutionarily fit, likely to live longer, likely to reproduce more, which would increase the frequency of the immune allele in the population. Over time, this increase in frequency of the gene that causes immunity could spread across the human race and cause it to evolve.

Kazeer [188]

Answer:

The answer is A - The populations will not be able to interbreed because they are different species and different species cannot interbreed

Explanation:

The population of birds become reproductively isolated because they are different species and different species are unable to interbreed. This is as a result of barriers which are called mechanisms of reproductive isolation which involves mechanisms, behaviors and processes that are critical for speciation. In reproductive isolation the different species are able to live in the same are but their properties and characteristics do not allow them interbreed to produce healthy and sterile offspring.
