A.

carbohydrate polymer

B.

inorganic molecule

C.

organic molecule

The correct answer is C. Organic molecule.

Explanation

An organic molecule is a chemical compound that can contain carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, among other elements. One of the chemical compounds that can be produced by the union of chemical elements are nucleotides, consisting of five carbons, a nitrogenous base, and a phosphate group. Likewise, when several nucleotides are linked they form longer and more complex chains such as nucleic acids, such as DNA or RNA, where genetic information of living organisms is stored. According to the above, DNA is a complex example of organic molecules. So, the correct answer is B. Organic molecule.

A 1.0 kg object is attached to a 0.50 m string. It is twirled in a horizontal circle above the ground at a speed of 5.0 m/s.
7nadin3 [17]

Given that,

Mass of the object, m = 1 kg

It moves in a circle of radius 0.5 m with a speed of 5 m/s

To find,

The direction of the acceleration.

Solution,

Whenever an object moves in a circular path, the only force that acts on its is centripetal force which is given by the formula as follows :

F=\dfrac{mv^2}{r}

The centripetal acceleration acts in the direction of force. It acts along the radius of the circular path. In this figure, the direction of the acceleration is shown at point d.

As you watch the video, notice that the size of the tidal bulges varies with the Moon's phase, which depends on its orbital posi
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

Both

A. Low tides are lowest at both full moon and new moon.

B. High tides are highest at both full moon and new moon.

Explanation:

Tides are formed as a consequence of the differentiation of gravity due to the moon across to the Earth sphere.

Since gravity variate with the distance:

F = G\frac{m1\cdot m2}{r^{2}} (1)

Where m1 and m2 are the masses of the two objects that are interacting and r is the distance Where m1 and m2 are the masses of the two objects that are interacting and r is the distance between them.

For example, see the image below, point A is closer to the moon than point b and at the same time the center of mass of the Earth will feel more attracted to the moon than point B. Therefore, that creates a tidal bulge in point A and point B.

On the other hand, a full moon it gets when Sun, the Earth and the moon are in a line and the moon is reflecting the sunlight.

When the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun it will be illuminated in its back, so it is not possible to see it from the Earth (that is called new moon).

In those two cases mentioned above, the Sun tidal force contributes to the tidal force of the moon over the earth making high tides higher and low tides lower.

A force of 500 N is used to slide a box across a smooth surface; the box moved 5 m in 1.2 seconds. What power is used?
Katen [24]
F = 500N
S = 5m
T = 1.2s
----------------------------------
P = ?

We can use formula P = F * V, just because it was a smooth slide we can assume that average speed was V = S/T = 5 / 1.2 = 50/12

So the final answer would be:

P = F * V = 500 * 50/12

Are you sure those are correct numbers? The answer don't look nice :D

A chemical process with an e-factor of 1 creates less waste than an e-factor of 25?
morpeh [17]

A chemical process with an e-factor of 1 creates less waste than an e-factor of 25 is True.

What do you mean by E-factor?

The actual amount of waste produced during the process—which is referred to as anything other than the targeted product—is known as the E factor. It considers the chemical yield as well as reagents, solvent losses, all process aids, and, in theory, fuel (although this is often difficult to quantify). There is one exception: I often did not include water in the E factor calculation. For instance, only the inorganic salts and organic chemicals present in an aqueous waste stream are taken into account; the water itself is left out. In many instances, the inclusion of water used in the process might result in very high E factors, which can make it challenging to compare processes in a meaningful way.
