Suppose that you repeated questions 5 and 6 using two line segments of your choice. The line segments could be any length and in

any orientation as long as the midpoints were marked correctly and coincided with each other. Would you reach the same conclusion that you reached in question 7? How does your conclusion relate to the diagonals of a parallelogram?

Yes, I would reach the same conclusion. The line segments that I’m drawing represent the diagonals of a parallelogram. If the intersection point of the diagonals divides each diagonal in half, then the quadrilateral that belongs to the diagonals is a parallelogram.

Question 13 options:<br><br><br> What is the slope of the line of the graph?
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope, pick any two points fromthe line.

(2,2)  & (0,-4)

x₁ = 2 & y₁ = 2

x₂ = 0 & y₂ = - 4

\boxed{Slope=\dfrac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}}

          \sf =\dfrac{-4-2}{0-2}\\\\\\ =\dfrac{-6}{-2}\\\\\\=3

Slope = 3

At y-intercept x = 0.

From the graph, y-intercept = -4

Equation of the line: y = mx + b

y = 3x - 4
