How does the body control calcium levels in the bones and blood

Health

Answer and Explanation:

 • The parathyroid hormone (PTH), emitted by the parathyroid organs, is liable for managing blood calcium levels; it is discharged at whatever point blood calcium levels are low.
 • PTH builds blood calcium levels by animating osteoclasts, which separate issue that remains to be worked out calcium into the circulatory system.
 • Calcitriol manages the degrees of calcium and phosphorus in the blood and keeps up a sound skeletal framework. Bone resorption by osteoclasts discharges calcium into the circulatory system, which controls calcium homeostasis.

The change in heart rate that occurs between 1 and 5 minutes of exercise is an adaptation that:______.(1) reduces the rate at wh
goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer:

(3) results in the production of more ATP in muscle cells

Explanation:

When exercising, Oxygen is introduced to the muscle cells via the Red Blood Cells. Hemoglobin which is carried by the Red Blood Cells binds with these oxygen to to supply the muscle cells with oxyenated blood. Thus, as blood flows into the muscle cell during exercise, there is increase in the rate at which oxygen is carried to the muscle cells.

On the otherhand, Carbondioxide is not carried to the muscles cells but it is diffused out of the bloodstream as bicarbonate ion (HCO⁻₃).

The change in heart rate that occurs between 1 and 5 minutes of exercise is an adaptation that: results in the production of more ATP in muscle cells. Thi s is becuase, Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a compound with high potential energy. The synthesize ATP molecules in the muscle cells is gotten from complex molecules such as carbohydrate, proteins and fats. So during exercise, there are more production of more ATP in the muscle cells to assist in the degradation of carbohydrate, proteins and fats that give rise to pyruvate, amino acids and fatty acids respectively.

The graph of f(x) = sin(x) is transformed to a new function, g(x), by stretching it vertically by a factor of 2 and shifting it
Maksim231197 [3]

Answer: g(x) = 2sin(x)+3

=============================================

Explanation:

We start with y = sin(x) or f(x) = sin(x). Recall that y = f(x) since both are outputs.

Vertically stretching by a factor of 2 means we multiply each y value by 2.

This means,

y = sin(x)

2y = 2sin(x)

Then we shift 3 units up. So we add 3 to the y coordinate

2y+3 = 2sin(x)+3

---------------------------------------------------

We can track an example point to see this movement in action. For instance, let's focus on the point (pi/6,1/2) which is on f(x). I'm in radian mode.

Stretching f(x) vertically by a factor of 2 means (pi/6,1/2) moves to (pi/6, 1) after the stretching occurs. I multiplied the y coordinate by 2, and kept the x coordinate the same.

Then we shift up 3 units to go from (pi/6, 1) to (pi/6, 4). You add 3 to the y coordinate and keep the x coordinate the same. Note that plugging x = pi/6 into g(x) = 2sin(x)+3 leads to 4.
