Answer:

In mitosis cell division, the chromosomes in so many different positions rather than in one distinct position because the cell is going to divide.

Explanation:

Mitosis is a type of cell division in which a single cell is divided into two daughter cells having double number of chromosomes or same chromosomes as that of parent cell. In mitosis, chromosomes changes their place because the cell is divided at the center and we know that chromosomes are present in the centre. For equal distribution of chromosome among daughter cell they move from the centre and reaches to the poles and the cell is divided into two daughter cells. Both daughter cells have chromosomes.

In the picture, there is a dark moth and light moth on each tree. If all the trees are dark colored
sammy [17]

Answer:

If all the trees are dark-colored  (without lichens) like the tree on the right, the moth that would most likely survive longest is the dark-colored moth.

Explanation:

This is because of natural selection (which means "A process in which individual organisms or phenotypes that possess favourable traits are more likely to survive and reproduce: the differential survival and reproduction of phenotypes.") The dark-colored moth is best adapted to its surroundings compared to the light-colored moth, and it will survive the longest (of the two) according to this definition of natural selection.
