Driving water out of crystals are crystallization process.

The piece of equipment used are evaporating dish.

Explanation:

Crystallization process

  • Crystallization is a process of converting crystalline solid state into liquid state.
  • It works both in purification and separation step.
  • Steps involved in the crystallization process are

        a) Nucleation

        b) Crystal growth

  • It is the oldest unit operation methods.
  • Methods involved in this process are solvent evaporation, slow cooling, solvent diffusion and sublimation.

Evaporating dish

  • Evaporating dish is a shallow open container.
  • Evaporating dish is used to heat and evaporate solids.
  • It is made by borosilicate glass or porcelain, which is non-reactive and withstand heat from Bunsen burner.

Will give brainliest, points, and more!!
tino4ka555 [31]

Do you relizes how many activities lead to global warming? When gas is burned in a car, it produces carbon dioxide (a green house gas). The carbon dioxide then floats up towards the atmosphere and becomes part of the atmosphere. This then causes the heat from the sun to get trapped, bouncing from the atmosphere to the earth. The sun will never stop producing heat which will only lead to the world getting hotter as each decade goes by.

Hope this helps you!

What is the electron structure of a beryllium atom?
levacccp [35]
From the periodic table, beryllium has an atomic number 4. This means that beryllium has 4 electrons.

Now, the first energy level can hold only 2 electrons (which will occupy the s sublevel) wile the remaining two electrons will occupy the second energy level (also in the s sublevel).

Based on the above, the electronic configuration of beryllium will be as follows:
1s2 2s2

If helium effuses through a porous barrier in 1.34 min, how much time (in min) would it take the same amount of ammonia to effus
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

The time taken the same amount of ammonia to effuse through the same barrier under the same conditions is 2.76 minutes.

Explanation:

Let the volume of the helium gas be = V

Time taken by the helium gas = t = 1.34 min

Effusion rate of helium gas = R=\frac{V}{1.34 min}

If V volume of ammonia effuse through same porous barrier the effusion rate of ammonia gas will be given as:

R'=\frac{V}{t'}

Using Graham's Law.

This law states that the rate of effusion or diffusion of gas is inversely proportional to the square root of the molar mass of the gas. The equation given by this law follows the equation:

\text{Rate of diffusion}\propto \frac{1}{\sqrt{\text{Molar mass of the gas}}}

Molar mass of helium gas = M = 4 g/mol

Molar mass of ammonia gas = M' = 17 g/mol

\frac{R}{R'}=\sqrt{\frac{M'}{M}}

\frac{\frac{V}{1.34 min}}{\frac{V}{t'}}=\sqrt{\frac{17 g/mol}{4 g/mol}}

t'=1.34 min\times \sqrt{\frac{17 g/mol}{4 g/mol}}=2.76 min

The time taken the same amount of ammonia to effuse through the same barrier under the same conditions is 2.76 minutes.
