However, given the patient’s initial laboratory results, patient history, and stated symptoms, it can be concluded that the patient presents with iron-deficiency anemia and possible aplastic anemia because of the long term aspirin use. Ms. A presents with a hemoglobin of 8g/dl that can be identified anemia. However, taking into account her symptoms of increased shortness of breaths with exhaustion and experiencing “menorrhagia and dysmenorrheal problems for 10-12 years” it can be further specialized into iron-deficiency anemia. Anemia is a condition marked by a deficiency of red blood cells or of hemoglobin in the blood, resulting in pallor and weariness.
