Answer:

The angle you would use for blue on a pie chart is 144°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

The full chart would have 360 Degrees. That means 30 people equals to 360°

30\ people=360

Divide both sides by 30.

1\ people=12

Now multiply both sides by 12.

1\times 12\ people=12\times 12

12\ people=144

Hence, the angle you would use for blue on a pie chart is 144°.

One way:
\frac{12}{30} x 360  (360 degrees in a circle which is what a pie chart is)
or \frac{2}{5} x 360
which is \frac{2}{5}x \frac{360}{1} = 144⁰ angle

What is positive four plus negative four over negative nine plus negative seven
seraphim [82]
\frac{4 + (-4)}{(-9) + (-7)} = \frac{4-4}{-9 -7} = \frac{0}{-16} = 0

When 0 is in the numerator, then the whole fraction becomes equal to 0.

However if 0 is in the denominator, then it is undefined.

Genevieve wants to verify that }(5x-20)-(4x-8) is equivalent to x. Which procedure can Genevieve follow to determine if
Gnom [1K]

They aren't equivalent

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

In order to determine whether the expression:

(5x-20)-(4x-8)

is equivalent to:

x

Genevieve needs to follow these steps:

Step 1. Get rid parentheses

5x-20-4x+8

Step 2. Combine like terms

5x-4x-20+8

Step 3. Solve

x-12

So:

x\neq x-12

Therefore, these two expressions aren't equivalent.

You need 112 K-cups for a party. A box of K-cups costs $16 for 36 K-cups. What is the minimum amount of money you will spend?
makkiz [27]

Answer:

$49.60

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation setup I used for this was as follows: $16 x (112/36)

Using PEMDAS, you'd start with the division part, 112/36. Although, I did this a bit differently, and being a bit further in school, I don't know if you go through this where you're at.

Start by factoring 112 into 4(28). This leaves you with 4(28)/36.

Next, cancel 4 out of 36. Since 4 is the common factor in 28 and 36, you cancel the four out of the equation, leaving you with 28/9. Convert this to its decimal form, 3.1.

Finally, take the 3.1 and multiply that by $16, which comes out to $49.60.

Enter an equation in point-slope form for the line.<br> Slope is O and (6, 7) is on the line.
Crank

Answer:

\displaystyle y = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the <em>rate</em><em> </em><em>of change</em><em> </em>[<em>slope</em>] is zero, that automatically makes our equation set equal to the y-coordinate of the ordered pair, which in this case is the y-intercept.
