Why rhizoids not called roots?

Biology

Most plants have roots, but there are some
exceptions. The exceptions are bryophytes
and the groups of green algae that are
classified as plants. Bryophytes have rootlike
structures called rhizoids for absorbing
water, but because rhizoids lack vascular
tissue they are not considered roots.

Polygenic inheritance is determined by multiple located at different loci on different chromosomes

Polygenic inheritance is determined by multiple Genes <span>located at different loci on different chromosomes.
Polygenic inheritance happens when an individual posses quantitative traits that become a variation compared to the parent's traits.
This phenomenon happens due to the combination of two or more genes that resulted in the characteristics that considered as the combination of both parents' characteristic.
