1\frac{1}{6}

First find the LCM which is 6 so multiply \frac{1}{2} by 3 to get \frac{3}{6} and multiply \frac{2}{3} by 2 to get \frac{4}{6} and then add \frac{3+4}{6}

I can try to explain how to get LCM if you don't know how

I'm bad at explaining things but I tried :/

Point A is located at (2, 6) and point B is located at (18, 12).
r-ruslan [8.4K]
From A-->B in a 2:3 ratio means that it's 2/(2+3) of the way up AB
So 2/5 of the x of AB = 2/5×(18-2) = 2/5 (16)
= 32/5 = 6 2/5 + the original x of A (2) = 8 2/5
2/5 of the y of AB = 2/5×(12-6) = 2/5 (6)
= 12/5 = 2 2/5 + the original y of A (6) = 8 2/5
Therefore the answer is:
(8 2/5, 8 2/5)
