A = 93.5
W = 8.5

L = 93.5 / 8.5
L = 11....the length of the cake is 11 inches

I got 11. Area= length x width 
Since the area is 93.5
divide 93.5 by 8.5 to get 11.
you can check this answer by multiplying 
11 x 8.5 = 93.5
