NADH and FADH2 are the electron carriers which contain most of the energy extracted from Glucose, the original energy source. This energy was the result during the processes of glycolysis and the citric acid cycle. In short, most of the energy in a cell flows from Glucose to NADH, to the electron transport chain to a proton-motive force to Adenosine Triposphate (ATP).

Briefly explain how and why social status helps to determine health
kkurt [141]

Answer:The unequal distribution of power, money and resources also creates health inequities. Nowhere is this clearer to witness in Australia than in the fact that the richest 20% of the population can expect to live an average of six years longer than the poorest 20%.

Australians who are socially disadvantaged by income, employment status, education and place of residence, and Indigenous Australians, also have a higher risk of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease and cancers, and depression.

Things don’t have to be this way. Differences in health outcomes at the population level are not explained by genetic variation or because of some mythical deviant behaviour particular to people in lower social class groups.

Indeed, the existence of systematic social differences in health outcomes show there’s something in our society creating an unequal distribution of opportunity to be healthy. These health differences are both avoidable and unfair.

Teach Every Child about Food
Mila [183]

1. Food labeling contributes to the obesity problem in our society because some things will say that it is low fat but it is full of so much sugar. They put these labels on because they have to but there is a law where they can be off by a certain amount onthe food label. They want to just label things, but sometimes they label things and they aren’t right

2.The big food brands need to put food education all around their business. With fast food chains they need to make their food healthier and not as processed so that when we have fast food it won’t do as much harm to us.

3.He wishes that we would teach kids more about food. I think it is admirable because no onereally teaches kids what food is anymore and if we don’t do this then they will have no idea what certain food is and any nutritional facts about food. If we taught them about food then they would be knowledgeable about what they eat.
