What happens if translation does not work?

Biology

If the translation does not occur or works badly, then the ribosomes can't create new proteins. If the body fails to make proteins, it stops working. That's because proteins are essential for the well being of your body, and not just in the sense that eating meat gives you protein. The ones created by ribosomes are much more important.

What 2 characteristics of earth allow for water to exist as soild, liquid and gas on the planet
olga_2 [115]

Liquid water exists based on the molecular structure of the water, and the temperature of those molecules. Liquid water is water, H2O within a temperature range of 0-100 degrees Celsius. The H20 compounds cling to other H20 compounds due to gravity, and a large amount of H2O compound form molecules of water.

Sally has a tumor. in an effort to fight the cancerous cells her body increases the production of
Lerok [7]
Cancerous cells often produce tumor markers as well as its own cancer cells that act as antigens that can be recognized by antigen presenting cells and be presented to natural killer (NK) cell progenitors that are found in the spleen, lymph nodes, thymus, and other lymphoid organs. With malignancy, the production of NK cells will be increased. NK cells works by killing cells that do not have an inhibitory signal (i.e. cancer cells) and preserving cells that do have an inhibitory signal (i.e. normal body cells).
