He is correct because as you can see from the picture, the outer side of the cell has a cell wall.  Only plant cells have a cell wall.  In addition, the cell is box like opposed to an animal cell which is not box like.  Plant cells can go through a process called photosynthesis

hmm Id suggest you google what a plant cell looks like and how to determine it on google this may or may not be helpful but its all i got good luck on gettin it in on time

They are the opposite of each other.
Photosynthesis requires carbon dioxide and releases oxygen, Cellular respiration requires oxygen and releases carbon dioxide.
