Well 9 3/4 is 9.75 and 27 1/2 is 27.5 so if we take 27.5 and subtract 9.75 you get 17.75 and then all you have to do is 17.75/2 which is 8.875 so the answer would be 8.875 inches on either side

Answer:

8\frac{7}{8} inches

Step-by-step explanation:

The width of the door is = 27\frac{1}{2} inches

The size of towel bar is = 9\frac{3}{4} inches

you want to place towel bar in the center of a door.

27\frac{1}{2} - 9\frac{3}{4}

= \frac{55}{2} - \frac{39}{4}

= \frac{110-39}{4}

= \frac{71}{4}

= 17\frac{3}{4}

The total space of the  17\frac{3}{4} inches was left

We will divide it by 2 to get each side space

17\frac{3}{4} ÷ 2

= \frac{71}{4} ÷ 2

= \frac{71}{4\times 2}

= \frac{71}{8}

= 8\frac{7}{8} inches

8\frac{7}{8} inches space would be on each side of the towel bar.

kotykmax [81]

Answer:

All points on line x+y = 0 or x-y=0 will satisfy the transformation.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let (x, y) be the general such point.

Hence rotating it by 180 deg. counterclockwise will give us (-y,-x).

Reflecting (-y,-x) on x axis gives us (-y,x).

Hence if (x,y) = (-y,x) then all ( x, y) where x = -y or x+y = 0 or x=y or x-y=0 will satisfy this condition.

All points on line x+y = 0 or x-y=0 will satisfy the transformation.

(x+6)(x-2)(x-1)=60 write a polynomial
enot [183]
For this case what you should do is:
 1) Multiplication of terms within parentheses correctly.
 2) Rewrite the expression respecting power properties.
 3) Add or subtract terms of equal power.

Solnce55 [7]
A.) Simplifying the equation would lead you to 15x^2-3x+9

b.) You know your answer is correct because you're adding the two polynomials together. 9x^2+6x^2 is 1tx^2. Now you have 2x-5x and since the negative is bigger, you get -3x. Then 5+4 is 9. You have no like terms therefore your answer is 15x^2-3x+9
