Well, we know that there are 6 numbers on each cube ( 1 2 3 4 5 & 6 ) so 6 x 2 = 12. We have a probability of about... maybe 3/12. There are 3 odds and 3 evens. Then another 3/12. Add the 2 together, and you get 6/12. Simplify it, and you get 1/2.
The answer is One Half = 1/2. Hope this helps!!

P( x) =x^3-6x^2-5x-14 What is the remainder R when the polynomial p(x) is divided by (x-7)
Igoryamba

Answer:

The remainder is zero

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the remainder we will use the long division

\frac{x^{3}-6x^{2}-5x-14}{x-7}=x^{2}\frac{x^{2}-5x-14 }{x-7}⇒(1)

\frac{x^{2}-5x-14}{x-7}=x\frac{2x-14}{x-7}⇒(2)

\frac{2x-14}{x-7}=2⇒(3)

From (1) , (2) and (3)

The quotient of the long division is x^{2}+x+2 and no remainder

So the remainder is zero

* If you want to check your answer Multiply the quotient by the divisor

(x^{2}+x+2)(x-7)=x^{3}-6x^{2}-5x-14

What equation represents a parabola that opens UP with the vertex at 2,4
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer:

  y = (x -2)^2 +4

Step-by-step explanation:

The vertex form of the equation of a parabola is ...

  y = a(x -h)^2 +k

for vertex (h, k) and vertical scale factor "a". When a > 0, the parabola opens upward.

One equation for your parabola could be ...

  y = (x -2)^2 +4

__

In standard form this one is ...

  y = x^2 -4x +8
