G(x) = 3x - 5

let g(x) = y

y = 3x - 5

y + 5 = 3x

3x = y + 5

x = (y + 5)/3

From y = g(x), x = g⁻¹(y)

x = (y + 5)/3

g⁻¹(y) = (y + 5)/3

g⁻¹(x) = (x + 5)/3

Jim is designing a seesaw for a children's park. The seesaw should make an angle of 30° with the ground, and the maximum height
boyakko [2]

You are giving the angle and opposite leg.

Using the law of sines:

Sin(angle) = opposite leg / hypotenuse

Sin(30) = 2/ hypotenuse

Hypotenuse = 2/sin(30)

Hypotenuse = 4 meters
