Offshore wind has a number of benefits that would make it an ideal recommendation for a task force looking to place turbine.

The two biggest benefits of offshore are 1. the benefits of being further away from land, which often tempers wind power and 2. being further away from neighbors who might object to having turbines placed right off their coastal property.
