Answer:

Mean = 11027.2

Median = 12050

Mode = no mode

Step-by-step explanation:

Gina drove about 12,200 miles the first year

She drove about 6,211 miles the second year

She drove about 12,050 the third year

She drove about 11,350 the fourth year

She drove about 13,325 the fifth year

Arrange the data in ascending order :

6,211 , 11,350 , 12,050 , 12,200 , 13,325

Mean : \frac{\text{Sum of all observations}}{\text{Total number of observations}}

          : \frac{6,211+11,350+12,050 +12,200+13,325 }{5}

          : 11027.2

Median: it is the mid value .

So, mid value is 12050

So, median = 12050.

Mode: The number which appears most often in a set of numbers.

Mode = there is no mode

Hence Mean = 11027.2 , Median = 12050 and Mode = no mode

(12,200 + 16,211 + 12,050 + 11,350 + 13,325) / 5 = 65136/5 =
13027.2 <== this is the mean (average)

11,350 , 12,050 , 12,200 , 13,325, 16,211
median (middle number) = 12,200

there is no mode...a mode is a number that appears most often...all the numbers appear once in this data.

Given: ABCD is a ∥-gram; DE ∩ AB =F <br> Prove: △ADF∼△CDE
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

By AA similarity

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that ABCD is a parallelogram

So, by the property of parallelogram AB ||CD and FD is cutting the line BC

Hence, FD is transverse line. In transverse line alternate angles are equal.

Therefore, ∠AFD=∠EDC  (alternate interior angles)

And ∠FAD=∠ECD (opposite angles in parallelogram)

Therefore, by AA similarity △ADF∼△CDE
