In order to find out the answer you have to know what domain and range is.

Domain is x (here,y) while range is y (x,here). The answer to your problem is Domain: {-3,-1,0,1} and Range: {-5,1,4,7}.

What is the difference of the volumes of the two oblique pyramids, both of which have square bases? Round the volumes to the nea
ad-work [718]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

See attachment for the figure

Volume of pyramid can be defined as

V = 1/3 x area of the base x height.

-> Pyramid A:

Volume of Pyramid can be determined by:

V = 1/3 x (2.6cm)² x (2cm) = 4.5067 cm³

Pyramid B:

Volume of Pyramid can be determined by:

V = 1/3 x (2cm)² x (2.5cm) =  3.3333 cm³

Difference b/w two oblique pyramids: 4.5067 cm³ - 3.333 cm³ = 1.17 cm³

By Rounding the volumes to the nearest tenth of a centimeter

1.17cm³ ≈ 1.2cm³

Therefore,  the difference of the volumes of the two oblique pyramids is 1.2cm³

A heat pump cycle whose coefficient of performance is 2.5 delivers energy by heat transfer to a dwelling at a rate of 20 kW.
jasenka [17]

Answer:

Net power = 20kW

B.) $128

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

Coefficient of performance = 2.5

Rate = 20kW

The net power required to operate the heat pump :

Energy delivery rate / Coefficient of performance

= 20kW / 2.5

= 8kW

B.) Given that electricity cost equals $0.08 per kW

If pump operates for 200 hours

Total energy used in kWhr :

8kW * 200= 1600kW

Cost per kW = $0.08

1600 * 0.08 = $128
