The total cost of the TV is: $181.57

Work: 195.72 x 0.20 (20%) = 39.14

195.72 - 39.14 = 166.58 <-- Was for the discount now you have to do the tax.

Now Tax, 166.58 + 14.99 = 181.57

Hope this helps!

195.72−(195.72×0.2)=156.576 156.576+156.576×0.09=170.67

Find a value for b so that the polynomial x^2+ bx + 25 factors to (x + 5)^2.
Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

10 = b

Step-by-step explanation:

Begin by expanding (x + 5)^2

(x + 5)(x + 5)

First: x*x = x^2

Outside: x *  5 (the last term which is a 5)

Inside: 5+ x

Last:  5*5 = 25

x^2 + 5x + 5x + 25

x^3 + 10x + 25
