The volume of a is found by using the formula;

Area = (4/3)πr³
Where r ⇒ radius of the sphere
            π=3.14

Area = (4/3)× 3.14 ×5³
        =523.33333 in³

To the nearest cubic, the  answer is 523 in³

What is the cross-sectional area of a wire if its outside diameter is 0.0625 inch?
Leno4ka [110]

Given that the diameter: d= 0.0625 inch.

So, radius of the wire : r = \frac{0.0625}{2} = 0.03125 inch

Now the formula to find the cross-sectional area of wire ( circle) is:

A = πr²

= 3.14 * (0.03125)² Since, π = 3.14 and r = 0.03125

=3.14 * 0.000976563

= 0.003066406

= 0.00307 (Rounded to 5 decimal places).

Hence, cross-sectional area of a wire is 0.00307 square inches.

Hope this helps you!

Which of the following represents the correct calculation of the sampling interval?
Goshia [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is

d. Sampling Interval = Population size ÷ Sample size.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to Johnstone et al., (2014) "<em>Once the auditor has determined the appropriate sample size, a sampling interval is calculated by dividing the population size by the sample size.</em>"

Thus,

Sampling Interval = Population size ÷ Sample size.
