Answer: One could correctly argue that it is a violation because the states have different populations and should have proportional votes.

Explanation:

Popular sovereignty is a concept based on the idea that government is meant to benefit its citizens, and states that the only source of governmental power is the people.

It´s reasonable to say that each State having one vote is a breach in popular sovereignty as the states´populations differ and ought to have equal representation regardless.

The popular sovereignty principle would later become a main idea of the United States Constitution.

Answer:

The sea’s natural splendor.

Explanation:

E. M. Berens' <em>The Myths and Legends of Ancient Greece and Rome</em> presents an interesting insight into the world of the myths and legends that we know only through stories and fantasy movies. And in this text, he also provides an insight into the underwater home of the sea god Poseidon.

And in the excerpt, he describes the place as <em>"surrounded on all sides by wide fields, where there were whole groves of dark purple coralline, and tufts of beautiful scarlet-leaved plants, and sea-anemones of every tint"</em>. Moreover, there were<em> "bright, pinky sea-weeds, mosses of all hues and shades, and tall grasses,[....] fish of various kinds playfully darted in and out...</em>". Added to that <em>"fairy-like region"</em>, there was no need or shortage of light which is provided by<em> "the glow-worms of the deep"</em>. All these details <em><u>depict the sea's splendor and the ethereal-like place of the sea kingdom. </u></em>

Ibn khaldun, a muslim historian was one of the first to study
AnnZ [28]

His family's high rank enabled Ibn Khaldun to study with the best teachers in Maghreb. He received a classical Islamic education, studying the Quran, which he memorized by heart, Arabic linguistics; the basis for understanding the Qur'an, hadith, sharia (law) and fiqh (jurisprudence). He received certification (ijazah) for all of those subjects.[18] The mathematician and philosopher Al-Abili of Tlemcen introduced him to mathematics, logic and philosophy, and he studied especially the works of Averroes, Avicenna, Razi and Tusi. At the age of 17, Ibn Khaldūn lost both his parents to the Black Death, an intercontinental epidemic of the plague that hit Tunis in 1348–1349.[19]

Following family tradition, he strove for a political career. In the face of a tumultuous political situation in North Africa, that required a high degree of skill in developing and dropping alliances prudently to avoid falling with the short-lived regimes of the time.[20][citation needed] Ibn Khaldūn's autobiography is the story of an adventure, in which he spends time in prison, reaches the highest offices and falls again into exile.[citation needed]
