Answer:

every 10 mL of solution equals 5 cells

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm not sure if this equation is right but I think it's either 200÷40, 205÷50, or 205÷40 I hope this is kinda helpful.

in a sale, there is twenty-five per cent off all prices. a chair costs £45 in the sale how much was it before the sale
ryzh [129]
First, you need to know what is 25 percent of 45, so you do 45 times 25 divided by 100 and you are going to get 11.25. Then you take the 45 and subtract those 11.25, which will give you 33.75 because it's saying how much was it before the sale. That's your final answer.

Which choice correctly shows rounding to the hundredths place?
Romashka [77]
The correct answer would be the last one.

3.8765+4.824+1.733 > 3.88 +4.82+1.73

This link is a good visual prompt of where the tenths, hundredths, thousandths, etc are.

Explanation:
Okay we are rounding to the hundredths. When we round a decimal up, we are basically being lazy so we just simplify the number. When we look at a number we are going to round we first need to spot where we are rounding up. In this case it is the hundredths.  Ex. 4.234/ Now the number that we are rounding "needs help from his buddy on his right" If the number on the right is 5 or greater, he is strong enough to help out. But if the number is 4 or lower he is too weak to help out. So lets do an example: Ex. 4.234. We see that 3 is the hundredths and the 3 turns to his buddy on the right and asks if can help. But since his buddy is 4 he can't help out.

Working out the problem:
The first option we are given the answers are in tenths so we can rule that out

The second option we are given the answers are rounded into hundredths so lets round the numbers/  3.825= 3.83, but the answers given (3.82) do not match up.

The third option: The answers are in hundredths so lets round the numbers.. 3.824= 3.82, but the answers given(3.81) do not match up

*Now by process of elimination you would now know that the 4th is the correct answer but lets work it out anyways, plus doing that is a bad habit to get into*

The fourth option: the answers given are in hundredths so let round the numbers.. 3.8765 (tricky since the answer all the way to the right is above 5 it rounds the helping buddy up) like so: 3.877... 3.877= 3.88. This turns out to be the right answer as you round up all of the hundredths places.

I hope this helps you out and hope you can understand this! Have a GREAT DAY!
